MSAG is pleased to announce that our team, led by Stinger Ghaffarian Technologies (SGT), was awarded a five-year Support Onsite for Information Technology Services (SOFITS) services contract from DOT’s Volpe National Transportation Systems Center (Volpe).
An innovative Federal fee-for-service organization, Volpe, part of the U.S. DOT’s Office of Research and Technology is an internationally recognized center of transportation and logistics expertise. The Center focuses on cross-cutting transportation, research, education, innovation, and other multimodal issues and offer their services to both DOT and non-DOT organizations.
The SOFITS contract is a multiple award contract vehicle with an IT functional scope of work covering five primary areas including: System Analysis, Development, Operations and Maintenance, Deployment and Field Support; Systems Architecture and Framework; Facility and Operations Support; Information System Security, and Technology Assessments and Modernization. The IT support services will be provided on a wide variety of national transportation system modes including aviation, surface, marine, pipeline, and rail.
